I leave this weekend for a six-week stint as Scholar-in-Residence at the Tufts European Center in Talloires, France, about 45 minutes from Geneva. I will continue writing from afar. I'd be interested to hear about European wine industry news/trends.
Living in Santa Barbara, we've got alot of Wine tourism. The big topic seems to be sustainability, but alot of talk about how the changing climate will affect certain grapes and the area's long term ability to handle the agriculture.
Glad you're back. Jealous you're where you will be working.
